Your privacy on the Internet is of the utmost importance to us. Because we gather certain types of information about the
users of this website, we feel you should fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of
that information. This privacy statement discloses what information we gather, how we use it, and how to correct or change
it.
1. Information Prologo gathers and tracks
Prologo gathers two types of information about users. Data that users provide through optional, voluntary
registration on our site and in certain contests and sweepstakes.The data Prologo gathers through aggregated
tracking information derived mainly by tallying page views throughout our site. Such information enables us to better
tailor our content to customers needs and to help us in better promotions and prices for our products.
We will never divulge information about an individual user to a third party. All data that is gathered, is used internally
for our own usage only.
Prologo gathers user information in the following processes:
Registration
The Prologo site offers free, voluntary registration to users. By registering, users can enter the site without
having to log on each time; they gain access to the administrative area; and they can take advantage of personalization
(the ability to select content according to a user-supplied profile).
During registration the user is required to supply an email address and password, and must answer mandatory survey
questions, eg: Phone No., Post code, country, and other information.
During registration the user has to supply a first name, last name. In addition, the user can opt to subscribe to Prologo
electronic newsletters. We also log the IP address during ordering process for statistical and security
purposes.
Electronic newsletters
The Prologo site offers a free electronic newsletter to users. Prologo gathers the email addresses
of users who voluntarily subscribe. Users may remove themselves from this mailing list by following the link provided in
every newsletter that points users to the subscription management page. Users can also subscribe to the newsletters at
the time of registration.
Surveys
Occasionally Prologo conducts user surveys to better target our products to our audience. We never share any
of this information about specific individuals with any third party.
Usage tracking
Prologo tracks user traffic patterns throughout our site. However, we do not correlate this information with
data about individual users. Prologo does break down overall usage statistics according to a users domain name,
browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every users
browser).
Prologo sometimes tracks and catalogs the search terms that users enter in our search function, but this
tracking is never associated with individual users.
Cookies
A cookie is a small data file that certain Web sites write to your hard drive when you visit them. A cookie file can
contain information such as a user ID that the site uses to track the pages you have visited. But the only personal
information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie cant read data off your hard disk or
read cookie files created by other sites.
Prologo uses cookies to track user traffic patterns (as described above), when you register as a Prologo
member, it uses a cookie to store a unique, random user ID. We do not store passwords or any personal
information about you. We use this ID to identify you anonymously in our database and to track the pages you visit
on our site. Cookies also enable you to enter Prologo site as a member and to visit member-restricted
areas of the sites.
If you have set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies, you will receive the warning message with each
cookie.
You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser. You do not need to have cookies turned on to use any
Prologo site. However, you do need cookies to participate actively in Prologo Purchase,
Promotions, Order tracking and technical support.
2. Use of the information
Prologo uses any information voluntarily given by our users to enhance their experience on our website,
whether to provide interactive or personalized elements on the sites or to better prepare future content based on
the interests of our users.
As stated above, Prologo uses information that users voluntarily provide in order to send out electronic
newsletters and to enable users to participate in polls, contests, technical support, and promotions. We send out
newsletters to subscribers on a regular schedule (monthly), and occasionally send out special editions when we think
subscribers might be particularly interested in something we are doing. Prologo never shares newsletter
mailing lists with any third parties, including our partners.
When we use tracking information to determine which areas of our sites users like and dont like based on traffic to
those areas. Prologo does not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs
overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for you.
3. Sharing of the information
Prologo uses the above-described information to tailor our content to suit your needs and direct our
promotions ,accordingly. We do not share information about individual users with any third party. (Prologo will divulge information only as necessary to comply with the NZ laws.)
4. Opt-out policy
Prologo gives users options wherever necessary and practical. Such choices include:
· Opting not to receive our electronic newsletters when registering for a site
· Opting not to provide certain personal information when registering for a site or when participating in some
contests (see above)
· Opting not to participate in certain interactive areas, which completely alleviates the need to gather any
personally identifiable information from our users.
5. Correct/update policy
Prologo offers users the ability to correct or change the information collected during registration for
any site (see above). The instructions for doing this can be found in our Member Services area. Users may change
this information at any time and as often as necessary. Users who are experiencing problems or who have any questions

6. Delete/deactivate policy
Users may unsubscribe to any of our electronic newsletters at any time by following the instructions contained at the
end of every newsletter. Currently, Prologo does not offer users a means by which to completely delete
personal information established at the time of registration. |
